Koru Art

My koru represents the maori culture.

The green koru is the dad and the yellow koru is the mum and the orange koru is the son.

Holiday Recount

Wow! On Saturday My dad took me, my two sisters, little nephew, my Mum and Auntie went to Sylvia Park in Mt Wellington.

First we went down the escalator and we walked around Sylvia Park and my two sisters were asking my mum if they were allowed to go to the smiggle shop but my little nephew and I said “no that's boring man” but my sisters said “we don’t care man”.

After that we went to McDonalds and we all ate burgers and fries and when we were all finished eating we went and played on the McDonalds park.

When it was time to go back home we all said “good bye” to each other. We all had a good time at Sylvia Park.

Easter presentation

I made this presentation because it was Easter and it was a sad day when Jesus died for us on the cross. I had to share my learning about this through making a presentation.

Stellaluna

Stellaluna can only eat ripe fruits.

In the night Stellaluna can see through the dark but the birds they couldn’t see through the dark.

All or most of the bats live in trees, old mine caves and old caves and under bridges.

You can not find any bats where it is hot or very cold but you can find bats were it is nice and warm.

The bats can fight by using their mouth to blow out strong wind.

Term 1 Reflection

My favourite subject this term was when we get to look at our netbooks because I had not used one in school before.

My behaviour goal for the next term is to listen to the teacher’s instruction that she tells me to do.

Next term I want to get on with my work and not waste my time when I have to work on something that my teacher tells me.

Oktapodi

Oktapodi was filmed at Greece. We watched the video to help us learn about sharing our opinions about something. The characters were a man and an orange octopus called Oktapodi and a pink octopus.

The orange octopus had a girlfriend that was pink and a man came and took the orange octopus’ girlfriend away to another place. The orange octopus was really angry so he escaped from the fish shop and tried to save his girlfriend. When he went off they all had a fight of who is going to take her. Thankfully the orange octopus rescued the pink octopus.....but......a seagull took the orange octopus away and so now the girlfriend needs to rescue Oktapodi.

I liked the movie because it was funny when they had the fight in the van.
