Prompt 5

One day their was a girl called Mary. Mary had two sisters called Petra and Faleaka. One day they were walking down Castledine crescent street.

When they were walking they said “ hey lets go and have a look at that school” ,Petra said “ but we might be trespassing”, Faleaka said meanly “ why not we should go have a look it might be a football field, rugby field, baseball field or a cricket field. So they went up the driveway and pass the grotto and all of a sudden they saw this man on the field. They thought that he was a criminal. But he was just mowing the field. So all of them three walked up to the man and taped on his shoulder and the man turned around and blew petra and faleakas hairs like a bun bushed. When the man turned off his wind blower he turned around and it was their dad and they said to their dad “ we thought it was a criminal but it was just dad.

So After that situation they went back home and told mum the great story that happened.

My life in room 6

When I am at school in room 6 my life feels different from home, because when I am at home I feel like I am home alone. At school I feel like I am in the city with a lot of friends.

My teacher Mr Slade is a very funny and sporty teacher because he is very cool and likes to make people laugh. When I look at him he looks like a person that plays for the All Blacks.

The attitude in my class is sometimes negative, but the class is sometimes positive too. When we move on to our next subject some people have to always talk like they are having a coffee break during class time.

Mr Slade and Miss Leaupepe are my best teachers who have taught me. I have learnt a lot of new things.

Changing Teachers

Today is our final farewell with our teacher Miss Leaupepe. Today we had a special farewell mass with Miss Leaupepe, we also meted our new priest and we got to introduce our new teacher Mr Slade. Miss Leaupepe has a job at the National Library in Parnell. I think it is really cool to have a male teacher because they are into sports.  I am looking forward to have our new teacher and i hope we learn new stuff.

Leki’s holiday

During the holidays Leki’s cousin’s came from Hawaii and stayed in Auckland for 2 weeks and 5 days.

Leki’s family went to the pools and after they had stayed in the pool they went to One Tree Hill. He said that the pool water was warm and he had lots of fun. He said that it was cool watching from the top of the mountain.

After that they went to Sylvia Park and went inside and walked around and bought stuff but he forgot what he had bought and plus they went to Pakuranga plaza. He said that he bought himself a videogame so he can play games at his house. Then his family and him came back home and played on the trampoline.

Leki’s highlights where going to One Tree Hill and after that they went back home and played on the trampoline. When they had finished jumping on the tramp they went inside and made Smores with marshmallows, chocolate and crackers.

Leki’s lowlights was his cousin’s leaving to Hawaii.

Leki’s dream holiday was his cousin’s coming to New Zealand and stay here for a little while and then his whole family goes to Hawaii.

Reflection Term 2

In term 2, my highlights were we had done fitness and a circuit fitness in the hall and I liked it because it makes me lose weight. I also liked the egg thinking because it was cool creating our own creative things to protect our eggs from cracking. We had a Duffy assembly and we had a visitor and his name was Simon O’Connor. We had auditions for who was going to present for the Duffy assembly and Justin won out of the boys and Pepe won out of the girls. Some of our year 7’s are joining songwriting with Mrs Carter after school every Thursday and they get to create there own song. Some of our year 8’s are doing mentoring and that means they can write there own song as well similar to the year 7’s. Yesterday we had a 3 way conference with our parents and my Interview was at 6:35. I need to work on focusing on my work.

My lowlights for term 2 was that I had missed out on the farewell picture with Huni and the school photos.

I am looking forward to the Rugby League and Badminton sports next term.

My week 8 Reflection

My highlights for week 8 is learning new strategies in maths and learning new names of God.

My lowlights are this week is to hear that Frank touched a girl and Szaskia touched a boy.

I am looking forward to the 100 day party and looking forward to what are we going to do on the 100 day party.

I need to think about the consequences of my actions because if I hurt somebody my consequences could be expelled or stood down.

Thankful

I am thankful for the food that the kids eat at school.
I am thankful for the world that God created for us.
I am thankful for the coins that we can donate for Caritas, poor people and World Vision.

I can show I am thankful by saying thank you when somebody gives me something.
I can be thankful by caring and sharing.
I can show thankful by being welcoming new people.

What God did for Israel

Hosea 11: 1-4

What God did for Israel
What parents do for their children

He called them out of Egypt

My parents feed me at home

I touch and heal my people

They forgave us when we did things wrong

I fed my people

I pick my children and hug and kiss them

He saved our sins

They help us at home with our homework

Our parents loved us with all their heart

What did Jesus has done for us

Prayer
Teacher
Healing
Service
Death
Resurrection

He went up to the mountain and prayed.
He teaches us how to say the our father
The people just touch jesus’s cloths that he is wearing and they are healed
Jesus made the storm calm down and he feeded 5,000 people
Jesus died on the cross for us to forgive our sins.
That we may still be alive
Jesus spent 40 days and nights in the desert.

Why did Jesus do these things?
Because he cared for us
He wants us to understand the 2 most important commandments
He loves all of us
He died on the cross for our sins
We can be like Jesus
